Course access management

Login as course author (any user with permission to edit the course). Open a course profile on the Edit > About tab and add a user or a user group in one of available permission group:

• View the course: usually instructors with a restricted set of assigned courses are added to the permission group. In addition instructors must be added to the set of responsible teachers.
• Edit the course: usually authors with a restricted set of assigned courses are added to the permission group.
• Course attendee management: usually attendee managers with a restricted set of assigned courses are added to the permission group.
• Start the course: the permission is added to learners of the course. The permission is automatically added after enrolment of a learner.

Learning path access management

Login as course author (any user with permission to edit the course). Open Attendee management tab of a learning path profile and add a user or user group in one of available permission group:

• View the learning paths: usually instructors with a restricted set of assigned courses are added to the permission group.
• Start the learning paths: the permission is added to learners of the learning paths. Such learners can start any course included in the learning path.

Quiz/survey access management

Login as course author (any user with permission to edit the course). Open Edit > About tab of a material and add a user or user group in one of available permission group:

• View the quiz
• Edit the quiz
• Remove the quiz
• Use in courses
